  We have had a wonderful stay in La Maison Canopée. Arno and Nadege, our hosts, have been very warm and welcoming. At any time we have gotten support and suggestions for planning our activities on the island. Being close to Saint Leu is a big plus as one can start many activities from this city towards the north and south. The house is located 300 meter above the sea level and offering a beautiful view across the Indian Ocean. Enjoying the nice breakfast, offered for a fair price, on the terrace looking at the ocean is a unforgettable memory! Being a little up in the mountain has also the advantage of a small refreshing breeze and less mosquitoes :-) The house and also the rooms are decorated very nice and thoughtful. We can definitely recommend this place for a great vacation on the island!
