  We really enjoyed our stay in this beautiful hotel. The staff were always friendly and very helpful. The food was fantastic, and the portions were very generous! Our room was comfortable with beautiful sea views. Thank you

  The Blue Margouillat was by far our best hotel on La Réunion. What immediately stood out was the cordiality of the staff, who are genuinely interested in the guests and do their best to make the stay as pleasant as possible. Our room was very nice, quietly located, top maintained and offered a great view. The food, both breakfast and dinner were excellent. For the above reasons, the hotel is a clear recommendation! The associated place Saint-Leu has unfortunately not much to offer, although this of course depends on your own planning and preferences (we can recommend as starting point for paragliding, Kélonia and a helicopter tour). The hotel itself has its own parking spaces, but since these are also used by restaurant guests, we did not get a parking space one evening and had to look for one a bit away.

  We had a very pleasant stay at Hitel Margouillat! The service was very obliging and the food very good. The room was beautiful and had a spacious balcony, which allowed for a great view over the ocean! The setting of the pool was very nice and allowed everyone for some privacy. Also the hotel is very well situated to reach St Gilles, Cap Noire, Pinto Maido, La Fenetre or St. Pierre. I have only two recommendations: There should be more possibilities (shelves and hangers) in the wardrobe to store clothes. As well the parking lots should be reserved for the hotel guests. I can recommend anyone to stay here and enjoy a beautiful and relaxed holiday. Mirjam

  Beautiful setting and great cuisine, wine pairing in our opinion was a miss but most of all this 4 course meal of well made dishes but nothing out of the ordinary (salade de palmistes, salmon with wild rice etc …) for 2 adults and a child meal certainly did not warrant a hefty bill of 500 euros! That being said it was a lovely evening!

  Pros are enormous; brilliant Chef and great restaurant all round. Rooms are comfortable but tiny. Views are superb. Pool is small but very pleasant. Cons; location is hard to reach on foot ( a car is essential) and wine, although excellent, is extremely expensive (as is anything else you might want to buy like lunch). Lovely staff. Great place for a night or two but not recommended as a base for a long stay.
