::On vacation with our friends from Reunion, we live on the island of Oléron in mainland France where we are "Fred n' So" event caterers. We work with fresh and local products with respect for the environment, a little in the idea that we immediately felt at home. I come here to give a very positive opinion on our lunch yesterday. Everything was perfect, the guinguette spirit, nature, the relaxing and timeless setting, the smiling and pleasant staff. The meal was delicious and my cook husband was surprised and appreciated that the chef came by to ask if everything was going well, he didn't know our job yet. It has become so rare now to find passionate people who want to please. We speak knowingly. In short, thank you again for this excellent delicious moment. There is no doubt that on our next visit to your island we will be back. We recommend Vavang'Art eyes closed.

::Typical and surprising!! Don't be fooled by the appearance of the place, the cuisine is top notch and original, named by several guides, I recommend it!!

::This is so much more than just a restaurant. A local craft beer brewer has an outlet here and so does a number of local artists. Interesting and funky stuff - like the decor. Very often (every weekend?) there is live entertainment. We caught a very good jazz trio one evening. It clearly is a place where Entre-Deux locals hang out on a Friday evening. The food is mainly tapas - of the French variety, nothing Spanish about that menu. Portion sizes was not as big as a we have grown used to, but good value for money, nevertheless. Service was some of the best we ever had in Reunion despite the usual communication problems. It's in the centre of town, so parking is at a premium. For the Friday jazz evening we came early and went elsewhere for a sundowner beforehand. Made the "what to do with the car" issue a moot point.

::We went for brunch today. The quality of the meal is to be reviewed. The geranium brioche was racy. Regarding the quantity, logically a brunch is supposed to allow us to combine breakfast and lunch. Here we had the equivalent of a starter. We had half a scrambled egg, for fruit salad we had two triangles of pineapple and six thimble-sized watermelon cubes, the geranium brioche as thin as a mobile phone, and a dry chocolate cake. Regarding the service, the napkins and cutlery were placed on the table and we shared them. When we arrived, we had to pay 5 euros per person for the musicians when there was only a singer on the piano. While during our reservation, at no time had it been specified that the entrance was paying. For this famous brunch, placed on a classic plate, we had to pay 15 euros all the same. Level value for money, I think there are many things to review.
