::Marvelous place. Outstanding and very professional service. The tapas and meals are of excellent quality. One could think that a beach restaurant may just thrive thanks to its good location but it ain't. It's probably the place I prefer in St-Gilles and I've gone to dozen of restaurants / bars. Beware that the Sauvage is usually always overbooked, if you want a diner table you gonna have to make a reservation one or two days in advance.

::Dinner on the beach, delicious and rather innovative cooking and the best service on the island! The nougat from goat cheese is fantastic, while the creole platter is tasty. But be careful on how much starter you eat, the mains are big and absolutely fantastic! Tuna tataki is fresh and well prepared, while the chicken with fried risotto served the best cooked chicken breast I ever had. Overall a place not to miss when in La Reunion.

::Sauvage is the perfect spot for a bite to eat, a cocktail, a meal etc. Great atmosphere, friendly and professional staff, delicious food. I almost deducted one star for not having more of a selection of beer (after having discovered a couple of great artisanal beers from La RĂ©union) but Iâd definitely come back and hang out here regardless.
