::Very nice home. Very pleasant and hospitable manager. Comfortable room with good bedding. Small, recent, clean and equipped bathroom. Sauna and hammam not recent but which do the job despite everything Full sweet and savory buffet breakfast ideal for hiking!

::Great location being very close to the volcano. You have your own balcony, all the essentials, the room had its own rustic charm and was extremely clean. We were leaving at 5am, well before breakfast the next morning so we got a tray of goods including tea, coffee, croissants and juice etc which was a very nice gesture from the staff there, they were very friendly and helpful. I don't understand why there aren't more 5 stars across the board!

::Our family was a little worried about this stop while hiking the GR-R2, due to some mediocre reviews, but our concerns were unfounded. The Hotel L'Ecrin has comfortable and clean rooms, a small bar, nice grounds with various activities, helpful staff, a very good breakfast buffet, and an excellent restaurant next door for dinner. We would definitely stay again.

::Not a nice place to stay, Restuarant is expencive for tourists, literally nothing to do there, there is a pool table but it is not usable seing as the que is broken and there is only one que. Wi fi only at the reception.
