::The hotel was okay but not 4 stars. The rooms were extremely noisy. You can hear someone in the other room plugging a cord into an outlet and people talking. Our room was also separated from the other room by a simple door, which of course added to the background noise. Otherwise, it felt like everyone was sick in the hotel. Only very few guests did not have to cough. This should be better organized in Corona times despite everything. Therefore, we can not rate the breakfast because we left the breakfast room very quickly.

::4 star Hotel. Look at the pictures and judge for yourself. The wait for the main course was 2 hours. The wait for a drink at the bar was 30min. The kids menu for a veg was the four noodles you see below (and they pay in full which is close to robbery!). The Wifi doesn’t work in the room. The fridge doesn’t work. The lightning in the bathroom is broken. Don’t go if you can avoid.

::Nice hotel and friendly staff. The room was spacious and very comfortable (superior room). The swimming pool is heated (unfortunately broken during our stay ) and the sauna + jacuzzi are free of charge. Just reserve a time slot at the reception. The hotel restaurant serves okay food. Up

::Rooms are ok, service quality is unspeakably bad. There was no WiFi access in the room (due to some problem we were told), and only after an argument with the staff (very rude, and virtually french-only speaking) we were given access to a hotspot in the reception area. Dinner in the restaurant (28€ per person) was also mediocre at best. Would give 0 stars if possible.

::Location: that's where one star is coming from. The view over the mountain range is really nice but I guess you get that anywhere from cilaos Room: That is the other half star. It was solid nothing special but clean and spacious. Food: absolute joke. The three course dinner was subpar. In particular the meat (chicken) was more bones than anything else. This is representative of the overall quality of the food and where they source it from Staff: The waiters and receptionists are nice and trying their best but are unfortunately untrained, make simple mistakes, and are overwhelmed. Overall I would not recommend this place and generally give it two stars. However the fact that it is a 4 star hotel and far away from the this standard I will drop one more star.
